After having studied International and European Law in Groningen and Copenhagen, Alexandra started her career as an attorney (in training) at Houthoff Buruma in Amsterdam. After leaving Houthoff in 2010, she held several legal positions both in the commercial, as well as the non-governmental sector.

As of June 2022, Alexandra joined Civilence as a corporate lawyer.
