Jillian graduated from VU University Amsterdam in 2003 and obtained her PhD (biomedical sciences) there in 2010.

After working in medical research and then in the agricultural sector for a number of years, Jillian made the switch to corporate law and notarial practice.

Jillian has been working at Civilence since December 2024 in the broad field of corporate law, including the incorporation of private limited companies, the issue and transfer of shares, amendments to articles of association, mergers and other restructurings.
